Badam Cake Recipe – A Rich and Delicious Almond Treat
Badam Cake is a rich, melt-in-the-mouth dessert made with almonds, milk, and sugar. This traditional sweet is packed with flavor and a perfect treat for special occasions. With just a few ingredients and simple steps, you can make this delicious almond cake at home.
Ingredients:
½ cup almonds (badam)
½ cup milk
1 cup stevia, kalkandu, or sugar (as per preference)
Tips any quantity 1:1 ratio
A pinch of saffron (soaked in warm milk for color and flavor)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Almond Paste
Soak the almonds in hot water for a few minutes. Peel the skin and grind them into a fine paste.
Add ½ cup milk to the paste and blend well to get a smooth consistency.
Step 2: Cook the Mixture
In a pan, add the almond-milk mixture along with the powdered sweetener (stevia, kalkandu, or sugar).
Stir continuously on low flame to avoid lumps.
Add saffron-infused milk to enhance the flavor and give it a rich golden color.
Continue stirring for 15-30 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy
Add Ghee 2 tbsp of ghee to it .
Step 3: Set the Badam Cake
Once the mixture reaches a thick consistency, pour it onto a greased plate or tray.
Spread it evenly and let it cool for about an hour.
Once set, cut into desired shapes and serve.

Add a pinch of cardamom powder for extra flavor.
You can garnish with chopped almonds or pistachios for a richer taste.
